Fun find Friday
So yesterday I stopped by Target on my way home from school to get the little bear something for his 2nd birthday on the 28th and you will never guess what I found! The fisher price little people barn that looks identical to the old one that I used to play with as a child! (My mom still has the one that I played with as a child and when we go over my kids will play with the house and the barn.) Of course I just had to buy it for the little bears birthday, I think he will enjoy it if not I will haha. I can't believe how much the barn and house look like the original ones! (Sorry I couldn't get a picture for you I will post one after I give it to the little bear.) I asked him old he was going to be before he went to bed tonight and he finally said "me two"! I was so excited I have been trying to get him say that for a little while now. Well tomorrow Jacob and I will get to celabrate another birthday together, how exciting is that!!! Lisa

10 Minutes to a room you'll love!
The Nester has done an amazing series on decorating called I did it in 10 minutes, were you take 10 minutes to a room and create it into a room you love. She has some really awesome techniques on how to spruce up a room in no time at all! Here we spruced up a bathroom pictured below by adding this photo borrowed from another room. Also note that the trim on the mirror was also painted white which really helped brighten the room up.
The shower curtain was a clearance find at Target from the super amazing shabby chic line! Don't you just love it when they finally mark things down that you absolutely love! Voila, the super amazing finished look!
Next we added this other photo below and hung two white towels along with a coordinating blue towel to match the curtain.

I love the look of how this bathroom turned out, I love that shabby chic look to the room and the colors are so pretty and cheerful! Well I hoped you enjoyed the small tour now fly on over to the Nesting Place to get lots more wonderful inspiration and ideas! (Click HERE for a direct link to the Nesting Place.) Enjoy, Lisa

First Story time!!!
Long time no post! Well yesterday I took the little bear to his very first story time at the public library. It brought back many memories of when I took Kyle and Lulu to there first story time, Kyle was about the same age as the little bear when he first went to story time. The little bear did very well for his first time, he sat on his carpet square and listened to the story and tried doing the rhymes. The craft that they did was to make a Hersey kiss out of paper and put sparkles on it. As you can see below he was very much into it at the beginning until the instructor passed out a Hersey kiss for all of the kids to eat! Forget this give me the CHOCOLATE he says!!!
"your doing a great job mom, no what, I think you missed a spot!""mom isn't this your job? Why do I always have to clean up after you?"
Well I like to think he had fun for his first story time maybe we will go back next week! I am hoping to start posting more regularly here on my blog, hints the word hoping! Much love, Lisa!
