Spring Decorating!!!

When it comes to decorating the house I am so into it! I actually got my first cloche a few weeks ago, OK so if you don't know what a cloche is, well its the glass dome thing in the picture below! (Don't worry I didn't know what they were called either until I read the current issue of Country Living magazine, now we don't have to refer to it as the glass dome thing anymore! ha!ha!) The cloche is very fun to decorate with, you can use them in so many different ways, I think I may just have to get me a few more! Here are a few more pictures from my table scape that I put together using the items that I have collected from a boutique nearby that I absolutely love to
shop at! Check out the oh so cute cast iron bird bath below! Is that cute or what! When I bought this last Saturday my intentions were to put this on the counter in the bathroom next to the sink. But I think I like it here better! Check out the eggs, they are actually little soaps, is that cute or what! The funniest thing was that Lindsey went to the shop with me when I bought the birdbath on Saturday and when she heard daddy coming in she asked me if I took the price tag off of it! I guess I have taught her well!

Lots to Blog about!!!

So as the title says I have lots to blog about, where do I even begin? I will start with Easter 2009! Well on the Saturday before Easter I took the kids to the Church Easter Egg hunt. I love the picture below with Lindsey holding Jacob! She is quite the mother hen, look at that little boy in the front! Sorry I have no clue as to who he is but he's quite a cutie and Kyle just looks thrilled to death doesn't he!!So moving on to Easter Sunday (man that was fast wasn't it) I felt horrible, I had a pounding headache all day which by the way then lead to a horrible sinus infection that lasted all week! Not to worry I feel so much better now thank goodness! Here are the picture's from the Easter egg hunt that we had at Nana's. This was the first year that Jacob got to go an Easter egg hunt. At first he didn't really know what to do, but he sure caught on fast! I love the picture below with Jacob and his favorite cousin! I wonder which one has more eggs!

OK so enough about Easter! Early tonight the kids had there Spring Program at school! These are always so much fun to attend! As usual Kyle was just as excited about this as he is with any other type of program that involves singing and dancing! Here are some fun photos that I shot tonight of the kids with my new camera, which I still have no clue how to use! Kyle was having a blast, can't you tell! (Some of my pics turned out a little blurry because I didn't have the VR/vibration reduction on some, photographer I am!)

This was the funniest part of all in the picture below Lindsey was supposed to put her back up against the little boy next to her, well instead she went for her little girl friend on the other side and the two little boys were left by themselves!!!  OK so it was one of those things were you just had to be there! Well that's enough blogging for one day! Its time to hit the sack I have school tomorrow and a wonderful PowerPoint presentation that I am just thrilled about! Ha ha!! I totally get nervous when it comes to getting up in front of others to speak, I stubble over my words, forget what I'm supposed to say, yeah it will lots of fun!!!

Fun at the park!

Today I took the kids out to eat for lunch, went to the library and then to the park. I of course had to bring along my new camera to practice my photography and get some fun action shots of the kids. I will admit it I am completely addicted to my new camera, I find myself taking it with me a lot and it even gets to sit in the front seat next to me. And no I don't fasten its seat belt, although I probably should with my driving! ha!ha! I had told the kids that we would play at the playground for a little bit then go down to where the trails are and go on a walk. They surprised me by wanting to go on the trails a lot sooner than what I thought! Which was a good thing, I had a few parents who where looking at me kinda funny while I was taking pictures of my children with my camera. Anyway, here are some fun shoots that I took while at the park.

I am sure you were wondering were Jacob was while the other kids were bathing, oops! I mean playing in the creek! Well, he sat ever so patiently in the stroller, I think he was really tired from the playground, I was very grateful that he never once wanted to get out and walk! (Thank goodness!)

Then it was time to go, since they had wet feet, pants and shoes!

I know the kids had fun and I had fun shooting lots (and boy do I mean lots) of picture of them! That is one thing that I love about my camera, I can shoot lots of action pictures in a row then go back and delete the ones that I don't want. I know the next time we go back there it will be a little warmer! Well, I have got to hit the sack we have another very busy day tomorrow!!!

Kyle's photography

Ever since I got my new camera Kyle has been hounding me about using my old camera. I told him he could have it but I just need to buy a new memory card for it, since the other one is completely filled up. Well since I always seem to forget and he really wants to start taking pictures for his 4H photography project(which isn't due until July), I decided to let him use my baby. I was very impressed with the photos that he took of Jacob while in the backyard today!!! Here are just a few photos taken by an 8 year old that I am so blessed to call mine!!!

Sage, beige or blue which one should I do!!!

Well, this Saturday my husband and I are going to paint our bedroom, sounds pretty easy, just buy a color and paint. Well, I wish it was that easy, the problem is I still, after months of looking at paint colors, can not decide on what color I want to paint the room. I absolutely love the sage green color of this bedroom.

But I also love the brightness of this room, and that armoire is simply beautiful!

For now I think I am leaning more towards a neutral color somewhat like the picture below. It has a warm cozy feel to it, by the way I love the light fixture!

After looking at tons of photos from Country Living and BHG I am starting to feel inspired to change things up a bit and paint. Its just the power of paint, it truly does make all the difference when it comes to a room. Now, I just have to decide which color I am going to go for, I have until Friday night! Oh the pressure! (Don't worry I will keep you posted on which color I decide.)
